About The Show

Washington Square Review

Washington Square On-Air is hosted by Rosalie Sanara Petrouske, Melissa Lucken, and Susan Serafin-Jess, all faculty members at LCC. The show is an extension of the Washington Square Review.

Washington Square Review is Lansing Community College’s Literary Journal.

The publication has a long history going back to the late 1970s. Founded and edited by LCC Writing Professor Donia Nolden; it was later edited for over ten years by Professor Dennis Hinrichsen and his creative writing classes. When Hinrichsen retired, Professor Karrie Waarala took over and produced the publication with her creative writing students.
