Art Happens Here with Bruce Mackley
Art Happens Here is a podcast that explores the deep realms of imagination, the origins of inspiration, and the divergent methods of creative processes. Host, Bruce Mackley is the Director of Marketing at Lansing Community College and an accomplished artist who has played a pivotal role in creating and developing art installations on LCC's campus, throughout Lansing, and across the nation. On Art Happens Here, he connects with artists and patrons of the arts to share their stories of triumphs, setbacks, and their approach to expanding creativity.
The Host
Bruce Mackley has designed several public and private art installations, and enjoys exploring non-traditional mediums. A finalist in both 2016 and 2017 ArtPrize exhibitions, his work has been featured on numerous arts and culture sites including My Modern Met, The London Economic, Bored Panda, and The Italian Design Institute. Bruce began his career as a newspaper editorial artist, and subsequently spent several years as an Art Director in agency settings. He is currently the Director of Marketing at Lansing Community College.
