A message from Jim to LCC Students:

I provide professional counseling services to help you develop the life skills necessary to reach your educational goals, and to live a life which is personally enriching to you and to our entire community.

I can help you with addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, relationship problems, mindset, emotional regulation, communication skills, stress management, identity and purpose, and more.

I believe we are happiest when we can clearly identify and authentically express who we are, skillfully manage our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and freely pursue the relationships and goals that bring us fulfillment. My counseling approach is holistic, meaning that while I specialize in mental and emotional health, I also recognize that physical health, relationships, and even environments all impact our mental wellbeing.

I enjoy working with students in all the ways they are diverse including race, ethnicity, age, spirituality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, political worldview, and more. Thanks for listening! I encourage you to consider using our professional services, and I look forward to working with you.
