LCC requires divisions, departments or programs with possible exposure to respiratory hazards to ensure protection of all exposed employees. Respirators are only to be used when engineering controls are not feasible. When respirators are determined to be needed divisions, departments or programs must follow the requirement to monitor potential exposures, ensure initial medical evaluation is conducted and documented, ensure annual fit testing is conducted and documented, train employee and keep records.
LCC's written Respirator Protection Program, guides and documents are provided below to assist divisions, departments or programs in developing and maintaining their specific Respirator Protection Program requirements.
