We know that vital learning takes place outside of the classroom. With Prior Learning Experience, you can get credit for what you've learned in the workplace or the community.
Earning Prior Learning Credits (PLCs) can reduce the time involved in earning your degree and save you money; the more PLCs you earn, the fewer courses you need to take to complete your degree.
Examples of PLC Sources
- Earned Licensure or Certifications
- Professional development and training
- Previous work, business, or industry experience
If you have prior coursework from a college, please submit an official transcript to the Registrar's office to receive transfer credit. For more information please visit our Transfer Equivalencies webpage.
For more information on how military experience and training can lead to LCC credit please visit our Military Credit and Programs page.
