Transfer Equivalencies

Lansing Community College has established equivalencies for the most commonly transferred courses from a number of colleges and universities in Michigan and the surrounding area. Some courses you have taken from the college you attended may not be listed. However, LCC can evaluate the coursework and assign equivalencies as appropriate.

If you took courses elsewhere and wish to receive official transfer credit on your LCC record, request your issuing college or university to send official transcripts to:

Once your transcripts are received by LCC, evaluations take approximately 4-6 weeks during peak periods, so please plan accordingly.

Please note that the tables contain equivalencies for credits that are transferred to LCC from another college or university. Students interested in transferring to another college from LCC should check the transfer agreements web page.

All final decisions regarding the transferability of courses should be confirmed by the Registrar's Office.
