Today's students and their parents want options, including the ability to earn transferable college credit before high school graduation. Lansing Community College developed the High School Advantage program to help high schools respond to this need. Courses are administered by LCC and taught by our faculty during the high school day on your high school campus. Courses are fully transferable to colleges and universities, including specific general education courses in English Composition, Science, Math, Social Science and Humanities.
LCC will provide the staff, you simply provide the facilities, necessary teaching materials, equipment, and supplies, and a commitment to a mutually-agreed-upon schedule. This program fills the gap for high school students who are ready for college-level work but want to receive all of the academic and social benefits of the high school environment.
