Advance your career
If having a college degree would advance your career goals, look into completing an associate degree in Business at Lansing Community College.
LCC offers ten business majors that span a wide variety of interests and roles. Two of these majors can be completed primarily in face-to-face classes in the evenings:
- Associate of Arts in Business, Transfer Studies is an appropriate choice for students who want to continue on to a Bachelor's degree.
- Associate in Business in Business Administration is a great choice for students who desire wide exposure to several business fields.
Convenient time, convenient place
LCC's evening business program is designed for busy people who work full-time and want to attend classes after work. Most evening classes start after 6 p.m., giving you time to drive from work and get a bite to eat. Most classes end by 9 p.m., allowing you to get home at a reasonable hour. Classes meet once or twice per week.
Evening classes are offered at LCC East, LCC's East Lansing location across from Michigan State University. This convenient location offers ample, well-lighted parking, 12 fully equipped classrooms, a computer lab, and two large study areas.
LCC East offers student services found on the downtown campus, including help with registration, placement testing, academic advising, library services, tutoring and success coaching.
Accelerate your program
LCC's associate degree programs are comprised of more than 60 semester credits, earned in 15-20 courses. Courses can be completed part-time or full-time, depending on students’ life obligations.
There are two ways to accelerate completion of your degree:
- If you have previously completed college coursework, you can send LCC an official transcript from your previous college and we will evaluate it for potential transfer credit.
- If you have worked in an area of business for a significant time, you can have that experience evaluated for potential credit.
