Lansing Community College

To All LCC Employees:

Lansing Community College's procedure for the emergency closure of campus (Closed Campus Days) will be based on the employee's work location. Please refer to either the Remote Work Environment section or On-Campus Work Environment section depending on your scheduled work location for the day of the emergency/outage.

Remote Work Environment

Employees scheduled to work off campus in a remote environment will continue to work if a College campus is physically closed due to a winter storm, power outage, etc. Remote operations, online courses, and online real-time courses should continue as scheduled.

Employees that are working at a remote location and experience an interruption to power, internet access, and/or the ability to work remote due to another event, must secure an appropriate alternate work location or come to campus.

On-Campus Work Environment

Employees working on campus will follow our usual emergency procedures. Employees will be notified of campus closures by either email, Rave, emergency announcement, and/or by supervisor.
