LCC will hold virtual commencement in May

LCC will host a virtual commencement ceremony in May to honor our 2021 graduates. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 13. It will be viewable on LCC's commencement website and on Facebook, and will air on LCC's radio station, WLNZ.

To help graduates celebrate their accomplishment, photo backdrops will be set up in various locations across campuses to allow graduates and their guests to take pictures. Those backdrops will be up during the week surrounding commencement, and graduates are welcome to come onto campus at their convenience.

Students planning to graduate at the end of the spring semester can apply until Monday, March 15, using the online form called "Application for Degree and Certificates" on the Registrar Forms webpage.

All students have received information in their LCC email about the virtual commencement, with a reminder to register to graduate. Students who have earned an associate degree or a certificate from Summer 2020 and Fall 2020, as well as students who are approved for an associate degree or certificate Spring 2021, may participate in the virtual commencement ceremony and will receive further emails later this spring with details on how to order their cap and gown. In addition, all graduates will be mailed a copy of the commencement program as a keepsake.

If you have any questions regarding the Commencement Ceremony, please contact the Registrar's Office at 517-483-1200.
