The StarZone is LCC's student services hub. Typically, if students have a question, the Enrollment Support Staff has an answer. Located in the Gannon Building at the Downtown Campus, it houses the following student services and resources:

REGISTRATION

StarZone staff assist students with class registration processes, and help new students understand and complete all required tasks prior to registration.

FINANCIAL AID

Expert financial aid advisors help students navigate through the often complex process of receiving financial aid.

PAYMENTS

Student tuition payments can be made online, 24/7, by logging into myLCC and then selecting TouchNet.

Center for Academic and Career Pathways

The Center for Academic and Career Pathways (CACP) is home to Advising, Academic Success Coaching, Testing Services, and Career and Employment Services. Here, students gain guidance from academic advisors and career advisors, and prior to enrollment, get assistance with all pre-enrollment tasks.

Placement Testing

All LCC students are required to meet individual course pre-requisites before they can register. Students can establish their placement levels through the Waiver request process, from the options listed below, or from taking the placement tests via Testing Services.

  • College degree or previous college coursework
  • High School Transcript (within the last 10 years from graduation)
  • SAT, ACT, GED, ASVAB, AP, or CLEP test scores
