Student and Visitor Instructional Space Injury Reporting

It is imperative that all students promptly report any injuries occurring in labs, classrooms, or other instructional spaces to their faculty members. Upon being notified of an injury, the faculty member or supervisor will take the following steps:

• Secure the scene and assess the necessary treatment, including contacting the student's emergency contacts if required.
• Complete an injury report within 24 hours of the incident.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
• Conduct a follow-up with the injured student to ensure their well-being and provide any necessary support.
