ADVANCED STANDING NURSING TRACK IS PAUSED

*Effectively immediately, the Advanced Standing Nursing track (for Paramedics, LPNs, and Respiratory Therapists) is paused due to declining interest. This track will not be available for at least the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. If interest in this track increases in the future, the college may offer it again. 2nd Degree nursing track new application deadline

*Effectively immediately, the annual application deadline for the 2nd Degree Nursing track is now September 1. This track is for those who already possess a Bachelor's+ degree in any field. The 2-Year track annual application deadline is still March 1st. 

LCC's Nursing program is selective admission. In order to be considered, students must meet admission requirements beyond those required for general admission to the college. There is no wait-list to enter the program; instead, acceptance is based on a point system. Check out the Nursing Advising Guides for the application process and admission requirements. 

Our Career Ladder Nursing Program is your path to becoming a registered nurse, a "Hot 50" job in Michigan with an average hourly wage of $30.82. Upon completing your course of study you'll earn an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nursing and will be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination. This highly regarded program has been national accredited for more than 45 years and is approved by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
