Lansing Community College

2nd degree nursing track application window is extended

LCC's 2nd Degree Nursing track application deadline has been extended to September 3rd, 2024. Completing your Nursing Signoff Advising Appointment is still required. All coursework must be successfully completed by the end of LCC's Summer semester to be considered.  To allow for faster admission decisions, courses and degrees completed at other colleges during the semester of the deadline are not accepted.

ADVANCED STANDING NURSING TRACK IS PAUSED

The Advanced Standing Nursing track is being paused effective Fall 2024 due to declining interest. Future application cycles will be reevaluated based on program interest. This pause will not affect students currently enrolled in the Advanced Standing track of the Nursing Program. If you have questions please contact the HHS Divisional Office at 517-483-1410.

LCC's Nursing program is selective admission. In order to be considered, students must meet admission requirements beyond those required for general admission to the college. There is no wait-list to enter the program; instead, acceptance is based on a point system. Check out the Nursing Advising Guides for the application process and admission requirements.
