Nursing Simulation Program (NSP)

Mission Statement

To provide high quality health care education using committed faculty, staff, and healthcare simulation technology. This promotes synthesis and continuous improvement of clinical care and patient safety by delivering quality immersive simulation education that serves the learning needs of our diverse healthcare community.

Nursing Sim Escape Room
  • The LCC NSP will provide innovative, high-quality simulation-based educational exercises and performance feedback activities across the continuum of nursing education that include skill development in communication, safety, assessment, and critical thinking.
  • The LCC NSP will promote patient safety and performance improvement in health care with an emphasis on inter-professional communication and team-based patient care.
  • The LCC NSP will serve the educational needs of the Health and Human Sciences Division at Lansing Community College while continuing to strive to serve the needs of local regional healthcare partners through cooperative relationships.
