Veteran Employment

The LCC Office of Veteran and Military Affairs is pleased to partner with InvestVets to help provide our veterans, current service members, and family members an opportunity to seek employment opportunities in the Lansing area, and other surrounding communities. MVAA also provides lists of veteran friendly employers within Michigan. These employers are actively seeking to hire more veterans.

InvestVets is a community based, all volunteer non-profit organization that started in Michigan in 2016. Their concept is built around the need for communities to come together, extend a warm welcome home to our returning service members and their families, and improve their employment opportunities by introducing them to our established business partners numbering nearly 500 at this time. Active Service Members, Veterans, Guard Members, Reservists, family members, and community partners are always welcome.

InvestVets emails job postings directly to anyone who is interested. You can email info@investvets.org and request to be added to the job postings list to receive those emails. Weekly Virtual Networking Events are also hosted on Thursdays at 1400 EST, with a rotation of industries throughout the year.
