Housing Options for
Students
With the off-campus housing service you can: search for an apartment/room; find a roommate; locate other housing resources; and list apartments or rooms.
Dining Options
LCC offers dining options at the Downtown and West Campuses. These cafés and food vendors are open to the public, as well as LCC students and staff.
Public Transportation
The CATA buses transport Lansing community members throughout the city. CATA offers discounted pricing for LCC students and also created special routes for students to transfer to and from the Downtown, East and West campuses, route 12 the West Star Line and route 1 to LCC East.
LCC Police Department
LCC employs police and emergency staff to keep the campus and its students safe.
On-Campus Health Services
The dual-purposed health clinics serve the community by providing access to health services, and hands-on experience for LCC students under direction and supervision of expert LCC faculty and staff.

Lansing Community College welcomes the public to campus for many events: the annual Job and Internship Fair that attracts more than 120 employers each year to LCC’s West Campus; College Night invites high school students and their families to meet with more than 100 colleges and universities to the Gannon Commons; and the Transfer Fair where the community can learn about transferring-in to LCC or learn about opportunities outside of LCC.
Center for Veteran and Family Support
The Center for Veteran and Family Support proudly serves those who have served our country, and their families. From admissions to graduation, this office supports our service members. The community can also nominate local service members for the Veterans Memorial Wall, located in the Health and Human Services Building. An induction ceremony is held each Veterans Day.
LCC Foundation
The Lansing Community College Foundation provides support to inspire and enable the pursuit of education for the betterment of the LCC and Greater Lansing community. The LCC Foundation annually awards more than $450,000 scholarships and aid to LCC students, and helps to fund college programs and improvements that strengthen the Greater Lansing community.
The Transfer Center
LCC students, and the community can achieve their bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees right in the heart of Lansing from some of Michigan’s top universities.
LCC Alumni Association
The LCC Alumni Association provides services, opportunities and resources to more than 500,000 Stars across the globe. Operated by the LCC Foundation, the LCC Alumni Association connects the good works of past and present LCC students with the Lansing community at large.
