Lansing Community College

The Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) provides a variety of public transportation services in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties. Membership includes the cities of Lansing and East Lansing and the townships of Delhi, Lansing and Meridian.

Fares
  • Regular fare - $1.25
  • Discounted fare for students, Medicare cardholders, seniors and persons with disabilities - $0.60

When boarding Route 3 in Delta Township fares are slightly higher

  • Regular fare - $2.50
  • Discounted fare - $1.25

Downtown Campus

CATA has 13 fixed-route buses serving LCC Monday through Friday. Buses serve LCC at several bus stops and shelters located on Shiawassee, Grand and Capitol.

West Campus

Route 12 serves LCC West Monday-Friday and Downtown Campus seven days a week. The downtown drop-off is on Capitol Avenue at Shiawassee and the pickup is at the CATA bus shelter on Grand Avenue and Shiawassee. The bus stop at West campus is conveniently located just outside the main entrance.

*Please note CATA Route #12, to and from LCC West and Downtown campuses, operates during semesters.

LCC East

Several CATA routes will get you to LCC East. A common trip might use Routes 1, 22, and 23.

Students who work or live in Meridian Township can get curb-to-curb service within the township, which includes LCC East. To make arrangements, call CATA's Meridian Redi-Ride service at 517-394-2282 at least four hours in advance of your trip time.
