The LCC Foundation has supported Lansing Community College for over 40 years by awarding scholarships and supporting new, in-demand, and innovative programs. Established by the Board of Directors in 2020 to support the operational needs of the Foundation independently of LCC, the Stars Operating Endowment will ensure that the Foundation can achieve its mission in support of LCC in perpetuity.
We connect the college to the community and our alumni and bring them together with their passions, to support the next generation of students at LCC. Each year we distribute more than $1 million in support to students and programs. We know that scholarships have a tremendous impact on the lives of students. A student at LCC who receives a scholarship is more likely to complete their education because of the support they receive from the Foundation. We support in-demand programs that lead to high-paying careers like the Center for Manufacturing Excellence, Nursing, and Aviation Maintenance through program grants.
