Far too many area college students report that the biggest obstacles to their success are hunger, lack of stable housing, and transportation issues. These are students who would otherwise be successful at Lansing Community College. LCC Cares has been established to address these needs. Donations to this fund go directly to support these basic and emergency needs.
Every donation of just $10 could provide a meal to a student distracted by hunger when they are sitting in a classroom, or studying at home. A gift of $50 would allow a single parent to have bus transportation as they strive to gain the skills that help them break a cycle of poverty. LCC Cares, and we believe that the Mid-Michigan community does not want to see students struggle with these issues.
