Steps to Apply

Massage Orientation

Attend a massage therapy program orientation. To register for an orientation date, please send an e-mail to the Lead Faculty, Jodi Wiley at: wileyj@star.lcc.edu. Orientations last approximately one hour.

Orientation Dates:

• Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 5 pm

• Monday, December 9, 2024 at 4:30 pm

• Monday, March 3, 2025 at 9am
• Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 3pm
• Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 4pm
• Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 3pm
• Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 9am
• Monday, June 23, 2025 at 3pm
• Friday, July 11, 2025 at 9am
• Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 5pm
• Friday, August 8, 2025 at 9am

Step 1 does not have to be completed before starting Step 2. We recommend completing the "Apply to LCC" step as soon as possible since this step can take some time to complete.

Obtain placement levels

Refer to this document to see how to do this without doing Placement Testing: Placement Level Equivalency Chart. Students in the massage program only need a Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 6.

Attend an LCC new student orientation

LCC Orientations

Apply to the Massage Therapy Program

Once you are accepted as an LCC student, submit an application to the Massage Therapy Program:
Massage Therapy Program Application.

Declare Major

Declare Massage Therapy as your major using the Change of Program Request Form.

Register for classes

When you have completed all the above steps, our administrative staff, Emily McEwan, will send an email stating the classes that you should register for.
