Job Training Center
Our vision is to target unemployed, underemployed, and at risk populations in our region to create bridge programs that link to employment opportunities. We will deliver accelerated or compressed programs in high demand areas to obtain the jobs skills necessary for employment. Employment Data will be used to determine areas of focus from CAMW, data labor and other available resources.
College Credit in High School
Accruing college credits in high school enhances students’ academic ability and knowledge base and reduces the overall cost of college. Dual enrollment allows students to take college courses at LCC, away from their home high schools, and the credits they earn are counted at LCC and are highly transferable to other colleges and universities.
Continuing Education
The Continuing Education program at Lansing Community College offers high quality, non-credit career and workforce development training, to improve professional and occupational skills. Through our certificate programs and other non-credit classes, you can receive the accelerated or self-paced training you need to keep up on licensure requirements, increase skill sets for career advancement, obtain skills for new career opportunities, and become exceedingly stronger in your current career.
Our non-credit programs are developed in close collaboration with our industry partners and Lansing Community College’s subject matter experts. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please call and we can help you. If we do not have the training you need, ask us if we can build it!
