Choosing a Catalog Year

While most LCC pathways remain active and applicable for five years, several are effective for one, two, or three years. The effective dates are listed on each individual pathway.  The catalog year is the first year of those effective dates.

If your first semester of enrollment as shown on your LCC web transcript is in the academic year 2024-2025, please refer to the program pathways listed below for catalog year 2024-2025.

If you first enrolled in courses prior to the 2024-2025 academic year (as indicated on your web transcript), you may select pathways available in the catalog year you began, as well as those available after that year. Refer to the pathways in the catalog years in which you are eligible, to find the pathway with the greatest number of courses you have already completed and in the area of study you wish to pursue.

Note: Students are expected to ensure their program of study and the catalog year is always accurate in Banner Self Service. If the program of study you are following has changed, or if the catalog year is no longer valid because the effective dates have passed, your record must be updated by submitting a Program and Catalog Year Update Request form via the Registrar Forms webpage.

Before declaring a degree or certificate program:

LCC makes every effort to limit revisions to the pathways during their effective timeframe.  However, the College reserves the right to update certificate and degree titles, and make course changes as needed, without prior notice. The College also reserves the right to discontinue programs when warranted.
