Student Food Pantry
The Lansing Community College Student Food Pantries play a crucial role in meeting the immediate food needs of our students by providing a variety of non-perishable food items. Multiple locations optimize accessibility leading to a positive impact on academic success and providing exposure to valuable community resources. This dual function addresses immediate nutritional needs and contributes to a holistic approach to student well-being. When we foster an environment that supports both academic and personal growth our STARS shine brightly.
Visiting the Food Pantry
Pantry locations:
- Downtown Campus Gannon Building - Room 2302 Adult Resource Center
Mondays 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
If you are unavailable to pick up food on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., please make sure to reach out to your Academic Success Coach for assistance. How to Access the Food Pantry
Eligibility
- Students who are enrolled in classes for the current semester may utilize the pantry.
Types of items offered at the food pantry
The pantry offers a variety of nonperishable items including vegetarian and vegan options, item selection varies.
- Entrées (examples: Hormel Complete Meals, soup, tuna, rice and noodle bowls)
- Snacks (examples: fruit cups, fruit snacks, pretzels, chips, sandwich crackers, cookies, beef sticks, jerky, granola bars, trail mix, nuts, and Pop-Tarts)

Hygiene products - Did you know? The Academic Success Coach team has a hygiene closet. Stop by the Success Lounge in Gannon 2202. Just let us know you are in need of some supplies, no appointment necessary and no questions asked. We have shampoo, soap, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and more we are happy to provide.
