The Lookout wins 10 awards at MCCPA conference
LCC's student newspaper, The Lookout, won 10 awards at the Michigan Community College Press Association (MCCPA) awards banquet, held April 1 at Central Michigan University.
The annual event brings together student journalists from community colleges across Michigan. The goal of the event is to recognize exceptional journalism at the community college level. MCCPA award winners are chosen by professional journalists who boast years of experience in the field.
LCC brought home the event’s top prize, first place in the “General Excellence” category.
