ChargePoint electric vehicle charging station

LCC is proud to unveil 32 ChargePoint charging ports at Downtown Campus. All students are eligible to charge their electric vehicle for free for up to four hours every day.

Here’s how to sign up for your free charging:

  1. Fill out the form in the “Charging Information” section online to register your electric vehicle.
  2. You’ll receive your ChargePoint connection code. Please do not share this code.
  3. Download the ChargePoint app from the App Store or Google Store to connect to stations on campus.
  4. Codes will update each year in July, and you’ll need to fill out a new form.

The chart below shows the locations of the 16 charging stations, each with two ports for EV connection. Please reference the Downtown Campus parking map to locate the lots.

Important: Please watch the time! Beginning at four hours and one minute, students will be charged $10 per hour for parking.

Additionally, vehicles parked in EV ChargePoint stations must be actively charging. If not charging, LCC Police can issue a parking violation.

Community members can use the chargers by paying $1.98 per hour for a maximum of four hours. Beginning at four hours and one minute, the public will be charged $10 per hour for parking plus $1.98 per hour for parking.

This is LCC’s second “green transportation” project unveiled in the past month. The college also built a secure bicycle parking area inside the Gannon Parking Ramp.
