All invited to Women’s Literature Read-In
In celebration of Women's History Month, authors and readers will present their work and the work of women writers from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, in the Gannon Building Grand River Room, 1130.
This roster of writers for this year’s Women’s Literature Read-In includes award-winning writers Rosalie Petrouske, Laura Apol, Erin Bartels and Nan Jackson. Authors will be available to sign copies of their books. The TLC Library will also provide a book cart with works by women writers for checkout, and refreshments will be served. This year's event will be face-to-face and on Webex. Please join us!
- 11 a.m.: Opening Remarks and Welcome
- 11:05 a.m.: Dr. Laura Apol, MSU Professor and Poet
- 11:25 a.m.: Bill Blanchard, Retired LCC Film Production Faculty, from “Jan’s Journey”
- 11:45 a.m.: Robin Pizzo, Director of Education, Michigan Learning Channel, from “Disparities,” a collection of poems
