Lansing Community College

Foundation Scholarship applications for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 year are being accepted November 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024. There is over $1,300,000 available in scholarships for current, returning and new LCC students.

The Foundation is offering several workshops to help applicants with the process and answer any questions you may have.

What is the Scholarship Workshop?

The scholarship workshop begins with a 15-minute presentation about the scholarship application, where you can find the application online, when it is due to be completed, and what applicants can expect when they are filling it out. We then walk workshop participants through the online login process, show them what the application itself looks like, and talk about some answers to frequently asked questions.

When are the Workshops?

Several workshops have been scheduled:

No upcoming events at this time. Visit the LCC college wide calendar to see what else is happening.

What activities will be going on during the workshops?

We provide workshop participants with a workbook that walks them through the application and has examples of previous applications that have done well and received scholarships. Throughout the presentation, we are happy to answer questions, and there is always time for additional questions at the end.

If there is interest, we also make time once questions are done to stay with anyone who would like to talk about their responses to application questions and how they can do well on the application.

Who can attend?

The workshops are open to all LCC students, parents, and people who are interested in scholarships for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 school year.

Because of technology limits, each online workshop will be limited to the first 100 attendees.

Where can I learn more about scholarships?
