This degree is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a baccalaureate degree in a natural resources related program. The courses outlined in this pathway are designed for students interested in pursuing degrees related to conservation, environmental science, fisheries and wildlife management, natural resources management and/or sustainability, as their main emphasis of study. Students completing this curriculum will also satisfy the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) between two-year and four-year institutions and qualify for an LCC Transfer Studies Certificate of Achievement (1482).

Field Survey Methods and Analysis, CA
Overview
The Field Methods and Analysis certificate is an interdisciplinary course of study in the Anthropology, Geography, and Geospatial Technologies programs that provides individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to work professionally in field surveys, site evaluations, and data recoveries. Students will learn commonly used field methods, as well as current advances in field technology. Overview
The Applied Field Survey Methods Certificate of Completion is a focused course of study in the Anthropology program that is designed to introduce students to the methods used to collect and analyze data in hands-on field and lab settings. Students will be introduced to survey methods and principles used in archaeology, geography, geology, and geospatial science. Topics and skills emphasized are site mapping, controlled excavation, on-site documentation, artifact curation, and geospatial data analysis. This certificate includes a field internship at an active archaeological survey location.
