Business Transfer Studies Track

Purpose of Program

This degree is designed for students wishing to transfer after having completed either the Associate of Arts in Business Transfer Studies 1622 or the General Associate in Business 1821. This Enhanced AB option allows completion of credits required for the AA 1622 or GA 1821 and completion of additional courses required for the Bachelor’s degree as noted below, as designated by transfer articulation agreements. Required coursework follows for the Business Transfer Studies subtracks of the Business, Enhanced AB for students transferring to Central Michigan University, Davenport University, Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Northwood University, and Oakland University.

A student must earn a minimum grade of 2.0 in all courses.

Completion of a School of Business Degree

Completion of an LCC School of Business degree is required for the Business, Enhanced degree. Completion of the AA in Business Transfer Studies (1622) as required for the specified transfer institution is the most efficient path to completing the Enhanced degree Business Transfer Studies track. Students who have completed a different degree will need to work with a Program Advisor to create a personalized MAP (My Academic Pathway) in Degree Works to ensure that all requirements are met.
