Lansing Community College

All students invited to listening sessions with LCC mental health counselors

Counseling Services is offering listening sessions for LCC students in the wake of the tragedy at Michigan State University. LCC’s licensed professional counselors will be available at each session to offer students a safe space to process the recent events in a group setting.

Listening sessions will be held in person at the Downtown Campus and at West Campus, and virtually via Webex. To get the link for the virtual sessions, please email ca_frntc@star.lcc.edu from your LCC student email and let us know which session you'd like to attend.

If you would like to attend a listening session but are not available at the times they are offered, please reach out to schedule an appointment by visiting our website, calling 517-483-1924, or emailing ca_frntc@star.lcc.edu.

Sessions are open to currently enrolled LCC students. LCC employees are encouraged to utilize LCC’s HMSA Employee Assistance Program by calling 800-847-7240.
