Lansing Community College

Annual Women's Literature Read-In seeking readers

All on campus are invited to celebrate the words of women writers by reading their own work or the work of a woman writer at the Women's Literature Read-In on Wednesday, March 26. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Grand River Room on the first floor of the Gannon Building. To accommodate those who are unable to be on campus or feel more comfortable virtually, the session will also be on Webex.

As in the past, there is no theme for the reading. Authors and readers may read any genre on any topic.

When planning your presentation, consider a brief introduction to the work. You may sign up for a 5-, 10-, 15- or 20-minute block.

In response to this invitation, please offer a window of availability (ex. 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). State whether you will be reading on campus or virtually. Identify the work(s) you will read. You may list specific titles (and authors), or simply respond, for example, I will be reading my own poetry/fiction/nonfiction and need 15 mins. Please state how you wish to be listed on the program.

Respond to Professor Teresa Purvis at purvist@star.lcc.edu or 517-483-1047 by March 16.
