Join us for annual Veterans Memorial Ceremony

LCC employee speaks at an LCC podium in front of the Veterans Memorial during the 2015 induction ceremony

LCC will hold its 12th annual Veterans Memorial Induction Ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the HHS Building Rotunda. A light luncheon will follow for all attendees.

The memorial is designed to honor Michigan veterans, emphasizing those in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties. This year, we will honor two brothers – 2nd Lieutenant Henry W. Lotoszinski of the U.S. Army Air Forces and 1st Lieutenant Edward F. Lotoszinski of the U.S. Air Force – as well as a husband/wife pair – Lt. Colonel Robert F. McCauley of the U.S. Army and Sergeant Marie R. McCauley of the U.S. Army (Women's Army Corps).

Since 2010, LCC has sought nominations of local individuals who have served in the armed forces with distinguished service. Nominees can come from any branch of the service during any military action, conflict or war. There is a particular emphasis placed on World War II, Korean War and Vietnam-era veterans. LCC strives to honor our local veterans who, while serving in any capacity in the military, distinguished themselves by extraordinary heroism or other action worthy of this commemoration.

Please join us in celebrating our veterans! The event will also be streamed on the Veterans Memorial webpage.
