You’re invited to Malcolm X Symposium

LCC’s 2025 Malcolm X Symposium, coming Feb. 18, will explore the theme of “African Americans and Labor.” This free event will feature:

  • Student spoken word and creative writing presentations
  • Music and cultural performances
  • A panel discussion with major union representatives

The event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, in the Michigan Room, with light refreshments beginning at 5 p.m.

The Malcolm X Symposium is organized by the LCC Black History Awareness Committee, one of the Cultural Awareness 365 Committees housed in the Office of Empowerment’s Martin Luther King Jr. Equity Center.
