First-generation college students are those who are the first in their families to attend college, or whose parents/guardians did not complete a college degree. Many LCC students are first-generation students, and this celebration is all about you!

This is a celebration held at colleges all over the country in early November in recognition of the Higher Education Act, which increased access to colleges. 

There will be student panels, a vision board workshop, a celebration with food and giveaways and chances to connect with other students. Check out the event schedule.
