What makes your company a great place to work?

Describe the culture of your company.

First National Bank of America’s collaborative, team-oriented community heavily influences the success of our company. Our people are one-of-a-kind. They are exceptional people with “servant’s hearts” and a natural humbleness that believes putting others’ needs above their own has value.

What majors do you hire?

We work with all majors and individuals pursuing any major.

What skills and/or experiences do you look for in candidates?

We are looking for professional individuals with a team player mentality and a willingness and desire to serve internal and external customers. Enthusiasm to learn and the ability to problem solve are also important features for desired employees.

Do you offer internship programs?

We do have part time positions that are flexible and work around student’s schedules on a year round basis.

What is one piece of career advice you would give lcc students?

My major was Business Management and I graduated in May 2022. My educational goals are finish my major at MSU and specialize in Finances. In the future I would like to start my own international business. 

What I like most about working for First National Bank of America
My experience working at First National Bank of America is so far very pleasant. It is a one of a kind work environment with lots of opportunities for growth and excellent management from start. What I like the most it is the teamwork we put together to learn and achieve our goals with success.  

How I heard about employment with First National Bank of America
The first time I heard about FNBA was from my cousin, who is also a former LCC student!

Advice to anyone applying for jobs/internships
For anyone applying I would advise to understand how big of opportunity is to get into the bank world and how useful the learning process can be for personal and professional goals.
