Our department's core services include:

  • Contract Services & Commodities: We ensure the acquisition of goods and services through competitive, fair, and ethical contracting processes that support the College’s academic, administrative, and facility requirements.
  • Contract Administration: We manage, monitor, and oversee the performance of contracts, ensuring that vendors comply with the terms and conditions, and that LCC receives the highest value from its agreements.
  • Acquisition Planning: We collaborate with departments across the College to anticipate and plan for future needs, ensuring that timely and cost-effective purchasing strategies are in place to support the College’s evolving priorities.
  • Simplified Purchases & Purchasing Coordination: Through streamlined procedures, we simplify purchasing for staff and faculty, enabling them to focus on their core responsibilities while ensuring compliance with College policies and procedures.
  • Decentralized Purchasing (LCC Pcard): We support decentralized purchasing by providing LCC Pcards, allowing departments to make purchases efficiently while maintaining adherence to budgetary and policy constraints.
  • Purchasing Training: We offer comprehensive training and resources to ensure that all members of the LCC community are well-informed about purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices, promoting a culture of responsibility and integrity.
  • Compliance: We are committed to maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, and institutional policies, ensuring that all purchasing activities are conducted ethically, transparently, and in full compliance with applicable regulations.

Achievement of Success of Excellence in Procurement Award

The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement award is designed to recognize organizational excellence in procurement. The program measures innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity and leadership attributes of the procurement function.
