Purchasing Department

As a central resource, the Purchasing Department serves the community by developing purchasing policies and procedures; providing tools to enable the best value purchase of goods and services; and assures that College purchases comply with applicable state, federal and local laws as well as industry standards and best practices.

Please note that Lansing Community College (LCC) is being facilitated in a hybrid fashion (remote and face to face). If you (or someone at your company) is scheduled to meet with individuals and/or perform services at the College it will be important that you confirm your appointment prior to visiting any of our campus buildings.

Achievement of Success of Excellence in Procurement Award

The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement award is designed to recognize organizational excellence in procurement. The program measures innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity and leadership attributes of the procurement function.

Recipients of the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award for 22 consecutive years (2003 - 2024) .

Lansing Community College is the only college in Michigan and one of only 16 Higher Education Organizations in the United States and Canada to receive the award.
