LCC to Host Queering History Celebration

Lansing, Mich. - Lansing Community College will kick off LGBTQ+ History Month with a Queering History celebration. It will be held noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 in the Downtown Campus Gannon Building’s Michigan Room.
 
This in-person and virtual event celebrates the history and milestones of the LGBTQ+ community through conversations, storytelling and performances, including conversation and Q&A with playwright Maggie Keenan-Bolger, joining via Zoom from New York City.
The event will be moderated by Layne Ingram, LCC President’s Office chief of staff and host of The Reconstructed Man podcast. Gifts for the first 50 in-person attendees and lunch will be provided.
