LANSING, Mich. –  WalletHub recently released its report on 2023's Best & Worst Community Colleges. They compared more than 650 community colleges nationwide across 19 key indicators including cost and quality.

Based on this data, LCC was ranked 79 out of 668 schools in the country, putting LCC in the top 12 percent of community colleges in the nation.

WalletHub ranks LCC as the 4th best community college in Michigan!

They have high praise for community colleges saying they "serve as an affordable, and in some cases free option for education. Community colleges have a number of attractive qualities and often provide more flexible schedules, smaller class sizes and rigorous coursework."
