Lansing Community College holding STEAM Fest
Annual event returns to the Downtown Campus
LANSING, Mich. — STEAM Fest takes over the Arts & Sciences Building from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. Kids in grades K-6 and their families and friends are invited to LCC’s Downtown Campus to explore science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics-themed events as STEAM Fest provides a free day of fun.
The LCC Arts and Sciences Division faculty, staff, and volunteers will host the event that features more than 50 hands-on activities including:
- Slime-making
- Planetarium shows
- Cardboard engineering
- M&M math
- Sculpture making and so much more!
There will be three planetarium shows at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30 a.m. Tickets are limited to 90 people per show and are first come, first served. Reserve your planetarium show and get your ticket(s) at the event check-in.
Participants will receive a goodie bag, event passport, and map at event check-in
There will be plenty of free parking in the Gannon Ramp.
