LCC Foundation seeking 2023 Distinguished Alumni nominations
The LCC Distinguished Alumni Award has been established for the purpose of honoring an alum who has made outstanding contributions to their career and their community through volunteer service.
The 2023 Distinguished Alumni winner will be announced in April and recognized at LCC’s 2023 commencement ceremony.
Nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award may be submitted online here. Nominations may be submitted by family members, coworkers, fellow alumni, and others who could testify to the nominees’ achievements. Nominations may also be self-submitted. The deadline for nominations is February 28.
The Distinguished Alumni are selected by the LCC Foundation Alumni Committee and representatives of the college.
The 2022 Distinguished Alumni was James (Jim) C. Ryan, III. Mr. Ryan is Chief Executive Officer for Old National Bancorp in Evansville, Indiana and has been deeply involved in Old National’s leadership since his hiring in 2000 holding several executive-level positions.
He began his studies at Lansing Community College in 1989 and traveled with classmates on the Japan Adventure in 1992. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University in 1994.
