LCC celebrating Michigan Reconnect Week
LANSING, Mich. – Lansing Community College’s Student Affairs Department is holding a series of events
including an open house, mixer and resource fair during the week of July 17-20 in
honor of Michigan Reconnect Week.
Michigan Reconnect is a state program that provides tuition assistance to help Michigan
residents over the age of 25 return to school. LCC has jumpstarted hundreds of Michigan
Reconnect students since the program began in 2021.
The events scheduled July 17-20 are open to all current LCC students whether or not
they are a part of the Michigan Reconnect program. Potential students are also welcome
to attend the events to learn more about the program and the college. Last year’s
events were attended by more than 500 people.
LCC’s Downtown Campus is the site for all Michigan Reconnect Week events. The campus
is located at 600 N. Grand Avenue and offers an abundance of free parking in the adjacent
Gannon Parking Ramp.
- July 17: Ready, Set, Reconnect! Michigan Reconnect Enrollment Day – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- July 18: Fall Open House: Resource Fair and Enrollment - Noon – 7 p.m.
- July 19: Career Exploration – 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- July 20: Reconnect Social Mixer – 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
