LCC Purchasing Department awarded Certificate of Achievement

20th consecutive year of recognition

Lansing, Mich. - The National Procurement Institute (NPI) has awarded Lansing Community College the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Procurement for the 20th consecutive year.

“Earning the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement award for the 20th consecutive year is a tremendous honor for our Purchasing Department,” said LCC Purchasing Director Samantha Gallimore.  “This award is an annual benchmark demonstrating the dedication and passion this team has for the procurement profession. Through innovation, ethical processes and uniformity, the Purchasing Department is advancing the mission of LCC through best procurement practices.”

In 1995, the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI) established the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® (AEP) program, designed to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement. This prestigious annual award is earned by those organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score based on criteria designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.
