LCC Courses

LCC offers free tuition at the College to eligible employees and their family members, encouraging the importance of education and professional development. Each semester, eligible employees and their eligible family members may request the waiver to be applied to credit and/or non-credit courses, including youth programs. New York Times Digital Edition

All LCC employees can register for access to the New York Times Digital edition for free through our LCC Library. This access includes the New York Times online articles, interactive graphics, videos, and podcasts. You will also have access to New York Times in Education and the TimesMachine (a browser-based digital replica of all issues from 1851 to 2002). Sienna Heights University

All full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive an $80 per credit hour discount for bachelor’s and master’s programs. If you plan to utilize this discount toward a program, you will need to complete the Partner Tuition Discount Application. To complete the Partner Authorization section of the form, please contact HR representative Nikki Cogswell at cogsweln@star.lcc.edu. This discount is not available for LCC athletic coaches or Specialized Professional Services (SPS) employees.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

• HMSA Employee Assistance Program (All Employees)
  • All LCC employees and their household family members have access to free, confidential professional assistance and referral services through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) administered through HMSA. Services offered include, but are not limited to, Work-Life Counseling, Financial & Legal Consultations, and a dedicated Toll Free Crisis Line. LCC purchased 250 subscriptions to Calm for the 2023-24 academic year to encourage and support the mental health of our employees in their work and personal lives. Calm is a mental health mobile and desktop app that incorporates these great features and more:
