Support Students Studying African-American History

The Ngere Abdul Wali Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Ngere Abdul Wali whose business, AfroVisions, provided people with the chance to re-educate and push aside the societal view of racial stereotypes through an afrocentric collection of videotapes airing a glimpse of African Americans as people.

The Wali family established this scholarship to support students at LCC studying African-American history, which was Ngere's passion.
