Support Students in Technical Careers

The Lieutenant Ted Harrison Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Ted Harrison, and his legacy as a brave, common sense and compassionate leader who embodied service with pride and excellence.

Ted was a first-generation college graduate, who received his start at Lansing Community College.

Ted passed away April 26, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. The Harrison family established this scholarship to support first generation college students studying Technical Careers at Lansing Community College. The recipient of this scholarship will be recognized at the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office Awards Ceremony.
