Lansing Community College

If you want to better understand natural resources and help people care for our planet, then you'll love studying Conservation and Sustainability at Lansing Community College! Sustainability is present in many job markets including Federal, State and Local governments; environmental remediation; construction; agriculture; engineering; and with environmental special interest groups. Conservationists focus on creating a cleaner environment, generating safer drinking water, improving use of Earth's resources, and protecting endangered species and habitats among many other exciting issues. They may travel to regional and remote areas, as well as work locally using technological tools for analysis and mapping. Students learn about the resources of the earth, the processes that affect them, and how both have influenced human living.
