Purpose of Program

This degree is designed for students wishing to transfer after having completed an Associate in Music (Music Education/Pre-Music Therapy, Music Industry, and Music Transfer) degree. This Enhanced A.M. option allows completion of credits required for employment or transfer through the A.M. and completion of additional courses required for the Bachelor’s degree, as designated by transfer articulation agreements. Required coursework follows for the Music, Enhanced A.M., Music Industry track.

Completion of coursework required for the Music Industry AM (1830) is a requirement for completion of the Music, Enhanced AM. Forty-five credits of the Music Industry AM coursework must be completed before declaring the Enhanced AM major.

Additional Information

A student must earn a minimum grade of 2.0 in all courses.

Completion of an Associate of Music Degree

Completion of an LCC Associate of Music is required for the Music, Enhanced degree. Completion of the Music Industry AM (1830) as required for the specified transfer institution is the most efficient path to completing the Enhanced degree Music Industry track. Students who have completed a different degree will need to work with a Program Advisor to create a personalized MAP (My Academic Pathway) in Degree Works to ensure that all requirements are met.
