- On-Campus Veteran's Coordinator
- Veteran-Specific Website
- Veteran's Lounge
- Fast Track Programs for Veterans
- Graduation Rate Tracking
- Academic Performance Tracking
- Persistence Rates Tracking
- Veteran-Graduation Recognition
LCC also received high marks as a “Best for Vets” designation for the 2nd consecutive year from Military Times, an independent news and information source
for the military community. LCC ranks 183rd out of 311 schools nationwide and is well positioned in a number of other categories
when measured against other community colleges, public and private schools and four-year
universities.
“It’s exciting for LCC to receive the Michigan Veteran Friendly and Best for Vets
designations,” said LCC’s Director of Veterans and Military Affairs, Andrew Cosgrove.
“These designations show that LCC is committed to our veterans and military-connected
students and we really care about assisting them with their needs, and ensuring they
have the opportunity to be successful at LCC. Our veterans and dependents of veterans
deserve the best service we can provide in return for the sacrifices they have made.
We look forward to continuing our mission in the years to come.”
