Kick off the fall semester by joining in on the fun during LCC’s Welcome Week from Aug. 21 to 29. There will be a variety of marquee events and prizes, free food and other fun activities. Come participate, socialize and explore the many networking opportunities there will be.
Welcome Week will be held on the west and downtown Campuses. Most events will take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Celebrate and share your LCC spirit at Welcome Week for a rewarding experience and become more familiar with your campus.
“Welcome Week is a way to welcome both new and returning students to LCC,” said LCC Conference Services Manager Kelly Hekler. “We will have events and activities every day, including things like free Kona Ice, two mini-therapy horses, free mini hot donuts and more.”
Some other events include a Non-Profit Government Agency Fair with a campus resource and Registered Student Organization Fair.
“Welcome Week concludes with our signature events on (Thursday), Aug. 29: Party with the Prez, featuring a mobile escape room, dance party tent, free walking taco bar and more,” Heckler said.
