Students who are enrolled in at least six credits at Lansing Community College.
How do I write for The Lookout?
Eligible students can come to the office, located in room 3157 of the Gannon Building,
and fill out an application, or call 483-1291.
How much do I get paid?
Freelance reporters are not paid. However many freelance reporters who show strong
journalism skills are quickly hired as student employees at a rate of $11.50 per hour.
How can I voice my opinion in The Lookout?

The Lookout is published in print twice during the fall and spring semesters. It is
also published online continuously throughout the entire year.

What is the circulation of The Lookout?
A total of 1,000 copies of The Lookout are published bi-weekly. About 10,000 LCC students,
their families, friends, faculty, administrative staff and employees of LCC have access
to The Lookout regularly.
Where can copies of The Lookout be found?
Copies of The Lookout can be found throughout the college: on LCC's main campus, west campus, east campus
and other satellite campuses. They are also distributed in downtown Lansing, in Lansing's
Old Town, and in other locations near the main campus.
